Charles from Texas has hunted everything from Muskox’s to Grizzly’s. However one animal had his attention this last week at V Bharre. The first day of Charles hunt he harvested a beautiful 35″ European Mouflon. After a great meal and a good nights sleep Charles was ready to go back at it. Not sure what he really wanted Charles and guide Brad Draughon went hunting early am. After hunting for several hours a small group of sheep came out of the brush to feed. Brad looked at the sheep and quickly identified the Black Hawaiian as a giant. “How big?” Charles asked. Brad told him he should push 40″. For those of us who know sheep, a 40″ Black Hawaiian is a stud. Charles laid his Steyr 30-06 on the window of the Ranch King blind. Taking a deep breathe Charles fired connecting with the record class trophy. As Charles and Brad approached the sheep they were both amazed how heavy his bases were and the length measured right at 40″. Nice shot Charles and congrats on your gold medal Mouflon and your super gold medal Black Hawaiian. Way to go!! I know in your testimonial you said you’ll be back again and again…..We can’t wait!
